Description :
  • Assist with the development of the Association's communications strategy to reflect corporate goals and section objectives.
  • Maximise the use of all communications channels to ensure that the association's messages are conveyed in a way that is fresh, relevant and engaging. Write press releases and feature articles to meet strict deadlines, managing the allocation of work to freelance writers when necessary.
  • Respond to media enquiries in timely manner and conduct subsequent follow-up with journalists.
  • Act as 'brand champion' and providing advice to colleagues to ensure the corporate brand guidelines are followed.
  • Attend (where applicable) member section and interest group meetings to provide relevant input.
  • Website management, including copywriting for web, updating website content using Content Management System.
  • Use Google Analytics and AdWords to monitor and maximise website visitor numbers.
  • Actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.).
  • Regular development of website content, navigation and UX testing.
  • Effective management of all social media channels, including reporting and statistics.
  • Create social media graphics for use across all channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Create additional digital assets (e.g. assist in commission of/create short films, audio shorts, podcasts).
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.).
  • Provide in-brand design using internal design platforms, e.g. Canva, Adobe.
  • Create, edit and publish video content across all channels.
  • Form and maintain positive working relationships with Members.
  • Provide a single point of contact to the sections of membership and preparing reports.
  • Coordinate communications support for major member initiatives.
  • Produce corporate publications and literature from concept to print including quarterly magazine and newsletters.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other departments as and when required.
  • Work closely with membership team to align membership recruitment.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders including speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners from PR perspective.
  • Assist with the organisation, administration and logistics of major events.
  • Coordinate communications coverage for Awards and all major and regional events.
  • To work with Head of Communications on speech writing, presentations and all digital requirements for industry events and ceremonies, e.g. Awards.
  • Provide support at other events on behalf of the association, e.g. exhibitions.
